We Need To Talk About Flume
When his debut album Flume came out, I knew this guy would change the face of electronic music. And I'd like to think he did/ is currently doing. Literally all the songs on that album are amazing, and that album was on repeat for a good portion of the year. I kid you not, I would always go back to it and never get bored. There's something special and unique about all his songs, and recently when I heard he released a deluxe edition of his album, I pretty much had a fangirl moment and proceeded to freaking out for a bit, then downloading the album. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and surprise surprise it's on repeat. In fact, as i'm writing this post, I'm listening to it. Currently listening to track 6 "Change". If you're a fan of the original album, i'm telling you, you NEED the deluxe edition. He has collaborated with artists such as Ghostface Killah (Space Cadet) and How To Dress Welll (Change) to create an album with a completely different feel from the original. If you like more hip-hop in your electronic, you're gonna absolutely love this album. Also seeing Flume live when he did a concert in Wellington, New Zealand a couple of months back made me love him even more, because he truly is talented and at his after party he created/ played so many awesome songs.
Without further ado, I present to you The Mixtape of the deluxe edition. Enjoy.
